Cindy & Randy Visit a Beach and a Park

December 6, 2002

Excursions to: 2 multicaches, one at Richmond Beach (on the Puget Sound) and the other at Marymoor Park (in Redmond)

Randy's First Ever Day at the Beach

Jeff and I had already been to this cache (see previous log), but it was a beautiful day so we decided to hit the beach. This was Randy's first trip to the ocean, as well as his first officially logged geocache.

Randy gathers the clues for the final coordinates.

There were a couple of beachwood sculptures that had been created on the beach.

Randy collects more information.

Randy searches for the cache.

And he finds it.

The waves kept rolling in, and we enjoyed the sunny day.

After spending time at the beach, we headed back to a multi-cache in a park close to home.

Randy watches the GPS as we walk.

Randy gathered pertinent information from a sign on a historical building.

We had to gather information, then do some simple math for the next coordinates.

Next stop, an old tree.

We ended up back here a couple of times (needed Jeff with us to doublecheck our weak math skills).
