Finishing at the Battery, Then On to a Star Wars Geocache December 15, 2002 Excursions to: A Path through the Woods and a Short Hike to "Endor" (ancient woods near a beach)

A Stroll On A Path, To Complete the Battery 248 Geocache   Back outside, we took a short walk through the woods.
There were some neat tree and plant growths. Randy also got to see and touch his first slug. :)
We had poor reception in these woods, but Cindy spotted a likely place and we found the cache.
Randy takes something and leaves something. Notice that he's getting a bit wet from the rain.
Endor Geocache   The road to the cache area was closed, so we hiked a bit to get to the beach and the woods.
We didn't see any Sea Lions or other wildlife today, but the beach itself is very pretty -- and we were all alone.
