Wine in Woodinville January 25, 2003 Excursions to: parks next to wineries and breweries in Woodinville, Washington (just north of Redmond)

Grape Expectations This was a wine-themed cache along the Samammish River Walkway, across from Red Hook Brewery. The area is surrounded by fields of grapes, vineyards, and some fancy B&Bs and Restaurants. One of the top restaurants in the entire country is here (The Herb Farm).

Lots of ducks on the water that day -- and if you look closely, you can see the stacks of crates of beer behind the bank above (from Red Hook).
The Shaper   Our last cache of the day was a microcache in a beautiful picnic spot in front of one of the wineries.   We'll have to come back on a sunny day for some wine and cheese.
