Log & Lake March 1, 2003 Excursions to: a historic log and a picturesque lake

McLeod Lake Cache We drove up a bit higher, along a dirt road, to find get to this half-mile hike.
We headed into the ferns and trees. A small brook babbled next to us for most of the walk.

You could see the snowcapped mountains off in the distance.

Then we headed back to the forest. Here the sunlight filters through some moss-covered trees.
