Strolling Among the Sycamores

March 3, 2003

Excursions to: a converted railroad next to the Snoqualmie River

Sycamore Corridor

A nice meandering path along the river, this time an area that used to be railroad tracks.

Jeff collects the first clue, then we were off to find the cache.

A gnarled old tree near the start of our walk.

A view of the old train bridge that we'd use to cross the river.

Aurie enjoyed the sun and water.

View from the bridge (that's Mt. Si again).

Jeff and Aurie waiting for me to crawl over the barricade (that keeps motorized vehicles out).

The cache was down through the scrub brush, near the water.

We found the cache, then headed back towards the bridge.
