River with a View March 1, 2003 Excursions to: the Three Forks Natural Area, near North Bend

Three Forks This cache took us to a spot next to pasturelands in front of Mt. Si.
We drove past pastures of horses and llamas, then ended up on a sunny bank overlooking the Snoqualmie River.     Click here for a larger version of the photo.
Lots of sandy banks and lazy water to be seen.
The Three Forks Natural Area is a 418 acre  preserve at the confluence of the North Fork, Middle Fork, and South Fork of the Snoqualmie River. This branch lies in the shadow of several mountains.   Click here for a larger version of the photo.
