Bridle Trails State Park & The Start of a Multi-Cache
Excursions to: Various Parks on the Eastside
Real Hike VC Cache, with a picture puzzle then a hike on a horse trail.
After solving a puzzle on the web page, Jeff and I headed over to Bridle Trails State Park. This is a park in Kirkland (just west of Redmond), with a riding arena and many trails for horseback riding.
This horse and rider pair were nice enough to let us take a photo.
Jeff records our visit in the geocache log.
It was hidden behind this old stump. (note the reflective tape glowing on Cindy's shoes -- we had to use the flash in these woods).
Micro Multi Cache, a 9-stop series of clues
We started this 5-star difficulty geocache this weekend. The first geocache to find was at a pull-off, beneath a large cement block.
Cindy finds the thin canister beneath the cement block. Inside are worksheets for the rest of the puzzle.
Each stop has one piece of the puzzle -- some use anagrams, some need to be decrypted, some need information from signs.
The second stop of the multi-cache was in a cold baseball park. The geocache was hidden in the woods to the right.
We then had to read posted signs to get the full clue.
