Mercer Slough Nature Walk, part 1
November 10, 2002
Excursions to: a multi-clued geocache in what used to be the east shore of Lake Washington.
Jeff and Aurie above the fishing dock.
Once on the dock, the ducks started heading toward us!
This is the walking bridge with its reflection.
The ducks stayed nearby, even though we didn't feed them.
(see the bridge reflection in the water?)
To the south of the bridge -- not as many ducks, but a pretty view of the last of the autumn foliage. The reflection on this water was really beautiful.

We finished up just as the sun started to head downward in the west.
The cache was tucked in beneath the boardwalk by the fishing dock.
This geocache was in a fish tackle box -- appropriate for the location.
